John M. Jureller brings over 40 years of experience in finance, corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, operational leadership, and corporate governance. Throughout his career, he has worked with companies operating across the U.S., U.K., Western and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and South America.

Since 2012, Mr. Jureller has served on the board of directors of White Plains Hospital in White Plains, NY, a large regional hospital where he is a member of the executive committee, chairman of the finance committee and is a member of the audit committee. He previously served on the audit committees of Studio Moderna Holdings B.V. (Slovenia) from 2011 to2012 and Torex Retail Holdings Ltd. (UK) from 2009 to 2012. 

Mr. Jureller has extensive financial leadership experience, having served as Chief Financial Officer of Obra Capital, Inc. (2022-2023), Knotel, Inc.(2020-2021), Frontier Communications, Inc. (2013-2016), WestPoint International (2006-2008), and Trans-Resources, Inc. (2002-2003).  From 2017 to early 2020, he was a Managing Director at Accordion Partners, a financial advisory firm. Earlier in his career, he held senior operational and financial roles at General Atlantic LLC, AlixPartners LLP, PepsiCo, Inc. and General Electric Capital Corporation. Mr. Jureller began his career in the corporate banking and leveraged finance groups at Bankers Trust Company.

Mr. Jureller holds a B.S. in Finance and an M.B.A. from Cornell University.

We believe that Mr. Jureller is qualified to serve as a member of the board of directors of Captivision due to his extensive financial expertise, global executive management experience, and leadership roles at both public and private companies, including  as chief financial officer. His background in financial strategy, risk management, public reporting, compliance, investor relations, human capital,  governance, and operational oversight enables him to provide valuable insights to the Board.

Hafeez Giwa is the Founder and Managing Partner of H Capital International (HCI), a privately held investment, development, and advisory firm specializing in real estate and infrastructure, and Co-Founder of HC Capital Properties (HCCP), a real estate investment and development company focused on Africa. Mr. Giwa has close to 20 years of professional experience in the real estate investment industry working in London, England and Lagos, Nigeria, as well as overseeing real estate investments and business activities in developments located in West and Central Africa. Before establishing HCI and HCCP in 2020 and 2015, respectively, Mr. Giwa held the position of Vice-President at Actis, a private equity firm focused on growth markets, from 2012 to 2015. Mr. Giwa started his career in investment banking and private equity in New York and London, where he made significant contributions to Morgan Stanley’s Real Estate division between 2006 and 2009. Mr. Giwa holds a MBA. degree from the Harvard Business School and a BA in Finance (with honors) from Howard University, where he was recognized as a Morgan Stanley - Richard B. Fisher Scholar and a Schweser - CFA Scholar. We believe that Mr. Giwa is qualified to serve as a member of the board of directors of Captivision because of his significant experience in the real estate industry.

Since 2017, Mr. Clark has served as Chairman of the Alliance for Downtown New York and the Downtown-Lower Manhattan Association. Jessica Thomas is a Partner at William Morris Endeavor (WME), a global entertainment agency. Ms. Thomas founded and ran the commercial division of WME’s predecessor, Endeavor Talent Agency, in 2002. Over the last two decades, she has helped develop it into one of the leading brand divisions, with over 30 agents and annual revenue exceeding $500 million. Ms. Thomas has extensive experience negotiating endorsement and branding deals on behalf of talent, such as Hugh Jackman, Emma Stone, Jen Garner and Oprah Winfrey, and strategic entertainment partnerships with various Fortune 500 companies, including American Express, Revlon, and The Coca-Cola Company. Prior to joining Endeavor, she was the Head of Sales for the now defunct HSI Productions, a production company with a stable of top directors for music videos, television commercials and long form content. In addition, Ms. Thomas is a member of the board of directors of Environmental Media Association, whose mission is to promote and establish sustainable production practices in the entertainment industry. She graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts in History. We believe that Ms. Thomas is qualified to serve as a member of the board of directors of Captivision because of her extensive experience in the media industry

Richard (Ric) Clark

Richard Clark has nearly four decades of real estate, M&A and capital markets experience. Mr. Clark currently serves as the Founder and Managing Partner of Burnside Investments, a private investment company, and as Co-Founder and Managing Partner of WatermanClark, a real estate investment and operating company. Since April 2024, he has also served as a member of the board of directors at Macy’s Inc. Prior to co-founding WatermanClark, Mr. Clark spent three decades at Brookfield Corp. and its predecessors where he served in a variety of leadership roles, including Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Brookfield Property Group, Brookfield Property Partners and Brookfield Office Properties. Since 2017, Mr. Clark has served as Chairman of the Alliance for Downtown New York and the Downtown-Lower Manhattan Association. Mr. Clark received a Bachelor of Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
